We experience four seasons in Wilmington with our average winter temperature about 50 degrees. Summer?s average temperature is 78 degrees, but we do have some hot and humid weather in July and August. We probably have about 95 days over 90?do we have some days under 32 degrees ? oh, yes, but on average they are few. Our beach water reaches 82 degrees in the summer and cools off in the winter to the 50?s. Our trees do change color in the fall and lose their leaves, but come February the buds on the trees are noticeable and the azaleas bloom in April.
